Fresh off the Farm: When 20-year-old Midwesterner, Tom Moffatt, arrived in Hawaii in 1950, he hardly expected to become a show business icon --- a pioneer of rock, radio, music videos, and pop festivals, an impresario who would work with nearly every major act in the business."

In the early days, Tom Moffatt helped to create the model for American rock-n-roll radio... and provided a lively sound track for the newly emerging State of Hawaii. From inside "Uncle Tom's Cabin" he introduced an exciting new generation of entertainment, TV dance programs, nightclubs for teens, The "Show of Stars" Series with the biggest acts of the day --- Chuck Berry, Chubby Checkers, Paul Anka, Pat Boone, The Platters, and dozens of others.
